Racing Driver. That’s always been the only thing that mattered for Mick. There was never a plan B for the son of Corinna and Michael Schumacher, born on 22 March 1999. His toys were go-karts and mini-quads, his playground were the kart tracks in Germany and Europe.
His sporting biography is nothing other than an education to become a racing driver:
In 2021 and 2022, Mick competed for the Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula One World Championship.
In 2023 and 2024 he is a reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.
In 2024 and 2025, Mick is competing in the FIA Word Endurance Championship (WEC). He is driving car #36 with the Alpine Elf Endurance Team.
In 2026, he is driving car #47 for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) in the US-based IndyCar Series.
